Opening dates, entry fees, permit rules, road and trail conditions, helicopter services and prices change often, sometimes at short notice because of weather, landslides or official orders. Distances, times and costs on this site are approximate. Always confirm current details with the Uttarakhand Forest Department and local operators before you travel.

Mountain travel involves real risks, including changing weather, landslides, river crossings, slippery trails and altitude sickness. Ghangaria sits at about 3,050 m and the valley is higher. Nothing here is medical, safety or professional advice. You are responsible for your own fitness, preparation, insurance and decisions on the trail, and for following the guidance of park staff.

The flower pages draw on published floras, including the Botanical Survey of India checklist for the park, and on research-grade community observations. Bloom months, altitudes and presence labels are indicative ranges, not guarantees. What flowers on a given day depends on snowmelt and weather, and a species listed for the region may not be found in the valley itself. Do not eat or use any plant or herb based on this site. Many wild plants are protected, and picking or collecting them in the park is not allowed.
