Privacy policy

ValleyOfFlowers.in is an information site. It has no user accounts, no sign-up or comment forms, no online payments and no advertising. We do not ask you for personal information to read it. We do use two analytics tools, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, to understand how the site is used and improve it. They are described below.

• Server logs. Like any website, the service that hosts this site receives your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request. This is used to deliver the site, keep it secure and diagnose errors. We do not use it to identify you.
• Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics to measure which pages are visited and how visitors reach the site. It collects usage data such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and uses cookies to recognise a returning browser. Google processes this data under its privacy policy. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
• Microsoft Clarity. We use Microsoft Clarity to see how visitors use pages, through anonymised interaction data such as clicks, scrolling and mouse movement, and session recordings and heatmaps built from it. Clarity also uses cookies. Microsoft processes this data under the Microsoft privacy statement.
• Google Fonts. The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers and Google receives your IP address and browser details. See Google's privacy policy.
• Search and filters. The flower search and filters on the flowers page run in your browser and are not sent to our servers.

We do not set cookies for advertising. Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity set their own cookies to measure visits and sessions. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work. If we add other tools, we will update this page.

If you write to us, we use your email address and message only to reply and, if relevant, to correct or improve the site. We do not sell or share it or add it to a mailing list. We keep correspondence for as long as it is useful for that purpose, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.

Some pages link to other websites, such as photo sources and official park information. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their privacy practices.

The site is a general travel and nature guide. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

We may update this policy as the site changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
